They Lied

The service department lied about the price, acted rude about getting the service completed in a timely manner, and did nothing to make it right. I am extremely dissatisfied. Do not waste your money here.

Bought a new can am for 13999.00 cash and went back the next week to trade in a Oder one so I could purchase 1 more of the same vehicle. Told me I would get 5500 for my trade which I said no thanks. While driving out of the parking lot a sales rep came running out saying they would offer me 8k which was way more reasonable. Now for the fun parts. They would not sell the the exact vehicle I just purchased from them 3 day prior for the same price . So they gave me 3 k on my trade but added 3 k to the price of the new vehicle. I complained to the sale rep and the sales manager and they both where suppose to call me back with 0 call from the store. No all I can do is leave messages because they have no real “Customer Service” department

Bike spent a month at the shop in Carrolton, to where they just reset the codes and charged 175... To which the same problem started again within two days. The service department at this location is a joke. I have had good luck with service at the Hurst location, but they are not a Kawaski shop for warranty repairs so had to go to Caroltton

Freedom Powersports Customer Care Review from Atlanta, Georgia

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Called Freedom motorsporys several times and spoke to different salesman and no one would ever return our phonecall after doing doing the application for the bike we wanted. Finally got a guy named Tony in the McDough store to take our application and run it. We got a call back telling us they found a financer so we drove over a hr to get to the place only to come here and the same saleman tell us he could not get us into the vehicle we were supposidly approved for. Never did they even look at my husbands bike for value for a trade in or anything just write down your information and wait. Had us waiting for an gour before they even told us we here denied. This place is a waste of time gas and money. I explained how i felt to the saleman and he did not offer to speak to any management just im sorry and come back another time. Dont give any of your money to these people they are crooks.

Freedom Powersports - Suzuki Dr-Z70 Review from Palmer, Texas

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My husband and I were looking to upgrade our son's 50cc off brand dirt bike that we had only paid about $300 for. We had stopped at Freedom powersports in Hurst to see what they had to offer. We were looking at getting an 85cc since he seems to be a natural on a dirt bike. The salesman was very nice (although not very informed on the items he was selling) but told us that he wouldn't be able to sell us it because that bike is powerful because our son was only 10 but that he had a 70cc that would be perfect. The only drawback was that it would cost over $2000 with TT&L. We were told that going from an off brand bike to a suzuki would be a huge upgrade. So we bought the bike, it was to be a Christmas present. We got home and gave it to our son and it was very slow compaired to the off brand one that he had. They were closed monday, but Tuesday morning we showed up right after they opened and let them know about our issues with the bike. They said there was nothing they could do, that they do not have a return policy but that we could trade it in on another bike. The problem is that we had saved for a while to come up with the $2000 and that they would only give us $1000 for the bike that we bought not even 72 hours earlier. The bike had only been ridden about 100ft total so it was still brand new! I was so upset, so basically they took $1000 of my sons christmas money! I have MS and am on disability so am on a fixed income. The only thing I have to say is merry friggin christmas freedom powersports in Hurst. We just got screwed without vasoline! They just got $1000 of my childrens christmas money for free!

Put Rim on Backwards causing damage

Wednesday, Feb. 6th, 2013 - Statement by Plaintiff Josh Boxer at 3745 Ridgefair Drive, ***. Ga. 30040 Ph: 678-654-**** Monday, Jan. 28th - Called Freedom Power sports and told them they put my front tire on backwards. Guy said he would relay info to Jason (Service Manager) and get back to me. Tuesday, Jan. 29th - Called and asked for Jason and he was busy. Stopped into store and talked to Jason and he stated that His tech that put my front tire on knows which way the tire should be put on and that it was unlikely they could do anything about it being that the bike was being serviced by Killer Creek Harley and it's here-say. I asked them if they would please cover the cost of the damaged Rotor, Bearings and pads which resulted from the tire being put on backwards and even offered to split the cost with them if they would take responsibility. Jason stated that he would have to get with his manager. Called Jason on Friday, February 1st and asked if he had spoken with his manager yet and he stated no and that he would get back to me when he did. Today is Feb. 6th and I have not received a phone call back from Jason. Freedom power sports is the only shop I have taken my bike in to change the rear tire on one occasion and the front tire on another occasion. Bike broke down Monday, Jan. 7th, brought into Harley Dealership and after $2800 worth of work, they did a safety check and noticed the problem with the air stem on the left side instead of right side of rim. Because of the rim being installed on the wrong side, it cause reverse rotation of the wheel in which it ruined the bearings, rotor and brake pads . Total cost - $696.40. I am looking for Freedom power sports to reimburse me for that amount due to negligence, damage and lack of willingness to get back to me about the issue.

I call BULL on "Put Rim on Backwards causing damage" First off that is impossible on most bikes, but I don't know what cycle he has here. So...

maybe yeah. But how would the reversed rim cause damage to bearings, rotors and pads? Bearings, rotors and brake pads work the same in any direction. And if that part of his complaint is true - how would the customer not notice as soon as he rolled out of the shop?!?

A far more likely possibility would be the air stem was installed pointing to the opposite side. VERY EASY MISTAKE to make.

And most likely COMPLETELY harmless error.

TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP!!!!!

Freedom Powersports is a terrible dealership with unqualified and nasty employees! They have no business being in business. It's hard to believe that they can continue with such poor customer service. When you go in to purchase a bike they seem happy to accommodate. It's when the bike is paid for that they forget their promises. They waited 3 weeks before they sent the paperwork for my licence in to the state which caused me to go past the 4 week temporary plate. When I called them about this they got nasty with me and said "it is what it is". Well, what "it" is is a terrible dealership that should go out of business as quickly as possible!

SCREWED OUT OF A JOB BY FREEDOM POWERSPORTS

BACK IN MAY OF 2011, I INTERVIEWED AND WAS HIRED BY FREEDOM POWERSPORTS. AROUND THE 18TH OF MAY, I PHYSICALLY DROVE OVER 4 HOURS TO MEET WITH THE *** STORE MANAGER, AND SON OF THE OWNER CHRIS. HE GAVE ME A TOUR OF THE DEALERSHIP, INTRODUCED ME TO SEVERAL OF THE EMPLOYEES, (ALL THE TIME TELLING THEM I WAS A NEW HIRE), AND THENSAID HE'D SEE ME ON TUESDAY THE 23RD BRIGHT AND EARLY. BEFORE I DEPARTED, HE ASKED IF I HAD FOUND A PLACE TO LIVE. I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS GOING TO BEFORE I LEFT GEORGIA. I DID. I PAID THE DEPOSIT, SECURED UTILITIES, AND OBTAINED THE KEYS. I THEN DROVE BACK TO BIRMINGHAM. ALL TOTALED I WAS GONE FOR 12 HOURS. LEAVING MY 2 BELOVED LABS ALONE FOR THAT ENTIRE TIME. (BOY THEY WERE GLAD TO SEE ME). OVER THE NEXT 2 DAYS, I SECURED A RENTAL TRUCK AND MOVED LOCK, STOCK AND MY 2 LABS TO MY NEW JOB AND LIFE IN GEORGIA, OR SO I THOUGHT. I ARRIVED IN GEORGIA ON THE 20TH. STARTED TO MOVE INTO MY NEW APT. AND BEGAN TO GET SETTLED IN. I EVEN BOUGHT 2 WEEKS WORTH OF GROCERIES. ON TUESDAY THE 23RD, I REPORTED TO WORK APPROX 25MINS EARLY AS INSTRUCTED TOO IN ORDER TO ASSIST IN PUSHING OUT THE BIKES. I WAS MET AT THE DOOR BY CHRIS, THE STORE MANAGER AND OWNERS SON. (I LATER LEARNED THAT HE IS ALSO THE CO-OWNER) PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND FOR LATER. HE INFORMED ME THAT I DID NOT HAVE THE JOB AFTERALL, AND HE WAS SORRY. HE CLAIMED THAT HE HAD TRIED TO CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL, BUT IT WAS NEVER RECEIVED AT MY END. WHEN I INITIALLY INTERVIEWED WITH HIM, ONE OF THE LAST THINGS HE SAID TO ME WAS THAT IF HE NEEDED TO CONTACT ME FOR ANY REASON, THAT HE HAD SEVERAL WAYS TO DO SO BECAUSE THE GENERAL MANAGER WHO HAD ACTUALLY HIRED ME, HAD GIVEN HIM ALL OF MY CONTACT INFORMATION. ie... CELL NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS, AND EVEN MY EMPLOYERS PHONE. SO HE HAD MANY WAYS TO GET AHOLD OF ME. HOWEVER, WHEN I ARRIVED TO WORK, HE SAID THAT HE ONLY HAD MY EMAIL ADDRESS. LIE #1 WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT I HAD JUST MOVED TO GEORGIA, ALL HE SAID WAS THAT HE WAS SORRY. AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COPULD DO. LIE #2 FINALLY I ASKED IF ANY OF THEIR OTHER (2) LOCATIONS HAD AN OPENING. HE SAID HE WOULD CHECK INTO IT FOR ME, AND CALL ME BACK. HE CALLED ME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND SAID THAT HE HAD SPOKEN TO THE OTHER STORE MANAGERS AND NOTHING WAS AVAILABLE. THE FOLLOWING DAY, I CALLED THE OTHER 2 LOCATIONS, AND THEY HAD NEVER BEEN CALLED. LIE #3 ALL IN ALL THIS WHOLE FIASCO HAS LEFT ME FINANCIALLY STRAPPED AND UNABLE TO SECURE AN APT. AT LEAST ANY DECENT APT. I'M OUT ABOUT $5000. AND NEITHER OF THE WILHELMS ARE WILLING TO MAN UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING. IF THIS WAS THE GOOD OLD DAYS, I'D CHALLENGE THEM TO SETTLE THIS IN THE RING, BUT NEITHER OF THEM HAVE BALLS ENOUGH, SO THAT WOULDN'T HAPPEN EITHER. IN CLOSING, STAY AS FAR FROM FREEDOM POWERSPORTS AND THE WILHELMS AS POSSIBLE. IN MY OPINION, THEY'RE DISHONEST, THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY, AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. WATCH YOUR BACKS OUT THERE PEOPLE WHEN YOU'RE AROUND THEM. IN MY OPINION, YOU MAY JUST GET SCREWED THE WAY I DID.

Victory motorcycles and their bad dealers

I purchased my motorcycle from Freedom Power Sports and have no issues with the purchase.....until I went to have it repaired. For example the wires beind the indicator lights were torn and broke; such a simple thing to inspect and fix. Now I wonder if the engine repair was done correctly. Also I was treated badly and not given any updates on the repair which took over 3 months to complete. When I asked questions I was told"Why should I care the insurance is paying for this" Be aware a warranty is worthless if it cannot be backed-up by a competent service and repair tech. Be careful who you let work on your bike. You may say take it back and have the work done correctly. I say, I don't believe they can and don't want them to touch my bike. I will gladly pay someone else to repair and I've already found them! Jim my 2 cents on the local Victory dealer in ***, Ga.!

Where did you get it fixed at my bike been at freedom power sports for more than two months now and nothing been done to fix my triumph it just a bent gears shifter rod and its been two months and they still don't have the parts they still don't have the parts it been two months and nothing but broken promises.

JimboKingpin S

Dear Vicbikeman,

You are very lucky. As for me they overcharged my insurance company 7K.

2 months after I got the bike back it broke down. I took it to another Vic dealer in Conyers.

Found out that some jack leg had crossed threaded the nut on the shifter cylinder. Anyway I do not recommend them them and ride safe!

Thomas J Btz

So, was it warranty or insurance? I'm confused by your story here....

I've never had a problem with Freedom, and I've been dealing with them for over 5 years.

Good group of guys. I'm sure there is a misunderstanding somewhere along the lines......
